Meet Stefany Reed, MA

Transpersonal Therapist and Energy Arts Practitioner

I walk the path between worlds—the grounded and the mystical. With one foot in the realm of research-based psychology and the other rooted in ancient spiritual traditions, my work bridges science and soul to help you return to your authentic self.

I hold a Master’s degree in Transpersonal Psychology from Sophia University and am a certified professional coach with over 30 years of experience in mindfulness, personal empowerment, energy work, and healing arts. My trauma-informed approach combines therapeutic coaching with spiritual insight, offering a holistic path to healing and transformation.

For over two decades, I’ve supported individuals through emotional overwhelm, burnout, spiritual awakening, and major life transitions. My integration coaching serves those who are ready to heal at a deep and transformative level—often people who have done years of therapy and still feel something missing.

Many of my clients are purpose-driven change makers who feel a soul-level calling to rise, reclaim their power, and make a meaningful impact in the world.

From an early age, I was highly sensitive and deeply intuitive, with a natural connection to the conscious universe. That inner awareness led me to study world religions and immerse myself in global spiritual practices. I’ve trained directly with indigenous healers and shamanic practitioners across global traditions, and I teach this work today. Out of respect for the lineages I’ve studied, all that I share is offered with the express blessing of my teachers.

This work is not just professional—it’s personal. As a mother of three highly sensitive children, I understand the real-life challenges and gifts of living as a sensitive soul. Whether you join me in a private session, group circle, or healing retreat, I’m here to create a space where you feel safe, seen, and supported to rise into the truth of who you are.

Philosophy, Education & Training

As a child, I felt tremendous empathy for all living things. I was deeply affected by the suffering I witnessed—both around me and within me—and became determined to find a path to healing.

I found much wisdom revealed itself in the teachings of Christ and the Buddha, in the practice of Aikido, in philosophy and religious studies, social work and psychology, self-defense, and personal empowerment. This exploration became a lifelong journey through global spiritual traditions and universal wisdom. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy and Art and a Master’s in Transpersonal Psychology.

In 2001, I was ordained in the Zen Buddhist tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh and received the Dharma name Radiant Vow—a reflection of my commitment to awakening, compassion, and spiritual presence. In 2004, I earned my first black belt in Aikido and was later honored by my teacher, Motomichi Anno Sensei, with the name ShinKi—a Japanese term combining “heart” (心 shin) and “energy/spirit” (気 ki), meaning Radiant Spirit. These paths—spiritual, martial, academic, and therapeutic—have continued to evolve and intertwine over time.

In 2017, after a profound personal healing experience, I began my earnest study of shamanic traditions. Since then, I’ve had the privilege of working with the Q'ero people of the Andes in Peru and indigenous teachers from many traditions around the world. These experiences, along with all I’ve studied and practiced, continue to inform and deepen the work I offer today.

It is my joy and life’s work to help you return to your truth, reclaim your purpose, and live from a place of power and peace. In the wise words of Morihei Ueshiba:

“You are here for no other purpose than to realize your inner divinity and manifest your innate enlightenment.”
